Very moving. Thank you for sharing. All I would add is my opinion that marijuana consumption need not be "carefully controlled". It grows in the ground, just like magic mushrooms, just like the ingredients that create alcohol. We need to stop giving our power to government and large corporations. And let the f*cking people out of jail who were imprisoned for its usage.

The stigma associated with drug use, as well as all aspects of addiction, are the product of societal fear, manifesting itself in closed thinking.

Recovery from any type of addiction is an awakening, in my opinion. Getting over rampant stigma is something an awakened society needs to pursue.

Hope that made sense; many thoughts going on in me now, and I wanted to respond to a thoughtful essay.

the spread between cannibis propaganda vrs reality is stopping lots of folks- especially 65 + from tapping into the wide array of product that can improve quality of life.The anti cannibis propaganda is still ringing in the ears of many potential beneficiary's.

When DPA was initially formed it was to provide a more dignified , patient centered option for aging parents and dying etc . Thats why George S funded , having experienced the trauma of watching elderly patient (his parents) suffer needlessly . TY DR G for shining a light on this remarkable plant.
