I remember the Reagan/Bush era of the war on drugs. I remember watching a comedy on TV where Whoopi Goldberg was mocking Nancy Reagan's "Just Say NO" campaign!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Excellent article. At the time many of us knew instinctively that Nixon was going down a dark path demonising cannabis. His grubby downfall should have been followed by the revoking of his harmful laws of Prohibition. Thankfully small pockets of people refused to be silenced and kept the torch burning in places like Ann Arbor in Michigan.
Though Nixon doubled-down back before I was born, it's still good to see the stigma on organic medicines slowly dissipate with him because what good are synthetic medicines when they nearly have paragraphs of the side effects. Organics have side effects too but some are nothing compared to the synthetic prescription pill effects.
